Having an M.S. in Clinical Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy, I got the chance to develop my skills in different psychiatric hospitals, youth centres and other environments such as prisons.
During my 8 years of experience, I have worked with people dealing with depression, anxiety, stress management and relational issues, helping them cope with challenging things in their lives. Helping young people and teenagers is another main concern of mine, and in my practice I have also worked with children and teenagers, assisting them with their learning difficulties, ADHD and autism, while encouraging their parents to understand the importance of family and how they can make a difference in their children’s life.
As clichéd as it may sound, there’s nothing more rewarding for me than working with people. Accompanying someone on their journey through life and standing by them when they discover the beauty that lies within themselves – it’s just something beyond words. We are utterly complex as human beings, and the journeys we undertake when it comes to ourselves are limitless.

Difficulties in Life
If you want to deal with a specific issue, CBT might be useful. The purpose of CBT is to help people change the way they think about themselves and the way they perceive their own circumstances.
CBT focuses more on the present and the future and is typically considered “short term therapy”, sessions ranging from 6 to 12. Most of the times, CBT incorporates mindfulness and breathing techniques used for anxiety, panic attacks, stress relief.
This approach is generally used when people want to explore therapy in an open ended space, without a set number of sessions. Working psychodynamically means the focus of the sessions will be to explore the upbringing, past relationships and events that have contributed to the personality of the individual.
Focusing on the past is key to understanding how someone has become the person they are and how their decisions are shaped by unconscious thoughts and emotions.
I often incorporate a combination of both CBT and a Psychodynamic approach into the sessions.
In order to decide which type of counselling is right for you I offer a 30 minute telephone introductory session free of charge.
This is an opportunity for you to meet me, ask questions and discuss what you would like to gain from counselling.

The practice is between Hampstead and Belsize Park. It is a 2 minute walk away from the Hampstead Underground Station, which is on the Northern line.
If you are coming by car, there are plenty of ‘pay and display’ bays available.

I provide online counselling for individuals that require support but are not able for different reasons to attend face to face sessions.
The fee is £70/session and every session lasts 50 minutes.
